another blah day
why do i constantly do and help with things that are not my darned responsibility? it is because im too nice or too naive?
unwittingly lashed out at the gf over the weekend.
I was already pissed at the fact i spent 1 whole day ( sat morning and sun morning) trying to get my car serviced to no avail.
as i turned the car out of the sidestreet, she said
"did u see the car coming on ur right?"
"yes"
" are you sure? i didn't think you did"
and i donno.. i just lost it and lashed out by stopping the car abruptly at the side of the road, and asked her to drive.
if ur reading this, im really sorry hunny. i didn't mean to .. especially not to u.

Nothing's gonna change my world
endless rain into a paper cup
They slither while they pass
They slip away across the universe
Pools of sorrow waves of joy
are drifting thorough my open mind
Possessing and caressing me
Jai guru deva om
Nothing's gonna change my world
Jai guru deva om
been feeling unfocused and down lately.
trying to make sense of a lot of things- but finding none.
talked to a dear friend, who put things in perspective:
"Do things not for man.. but for dear God in heaven."
...and it all made sense somehow..

speed of light
Why? because for the past few months, i've been bogged down by ridiculously slow internet speeds.. if i even manage to connect in the first place.
first impressions are good so far.. speed is super duper fast and line is stable.

I've always believe to follow your heart, do what pleases you ..not others.
Cos in the end, it's you who's gotta work in whatever job you decide to for the rest of your life.

so daddy's b'day is coming up. .and i've spotted the mostest wonderful prezzie that i know he'll love.
more guitars :P
well. .specifically a guitar he's always wanted but hard pressed to find.
And i've found a bargain one.. pre owned but in scandalously delicious condition.

(see the 2008 jazzmaster listed there? ITS MINE I TELL YOU. .MINE! MINE! MINE!)
*cue evil hysterical laughter*
yesh.. i know it's a lot of money.. but hey! my daddy spent a lot to give me an education.. bringing me up right.. taking care of me.
it is but a small tiny bit i can do to repay him.,
( of course.. he won't get to actually play the guitar until i go back to my hometown.. but he'd be happy just to know it's in the Kueh family.. )

looks like im a posting mood today hor?
it's been a good eye opener whilst im here. A lot of colleagues i felt were intimidating turned out to be human after all... not dalek robots who can shoot lasers from their eyes or kill whole populations with a poisonous fart.
so that was a relief. *phew*
And i do see them facing the challenges/frustrations that i myself kinda feel sometimes.
It's always good to know your not alone i guess.. (cue "You'll Never Walk Alone")
....walk on....
...walk onnnn...
(somehow i never tire of that song . heh)
and i know i'll leave with mixed feelings.. mainly because.. i do feel it's hell a lot easier to work with ppl who have a level of professionalism and intelligence. not zombies who just follow directions blindly.
but .. i've also got heartstrings tugging back in kl which i am dearly keen to return to.
and i miss my car.. and my food.. and my lovely ' japanese' bed.. and my ps2.. and my list goes on..

went drinking y'day with the usual gang i.e. (Trina and gang) and i ordered a Southside.
Interestingly, the bartenders were going on and on between using orange juice or lime juice to make it.
And i was a bit tickled by that..and then i became awed.
Because, a one-inch thick book came out.. and the bartenders all crammed to sneak a peek at the holy grail of cocktail mixes.
"Lime Juice!" they chimed.
The oracle has spoken.
I was kinda amused by that..
